Supervised Play Duplicate
The Naples Bridge Center offers mini-lessons with Guy Germer
followed by two hours of supervised play for ACBL masterpoints
every Monday and Wednesday morning at 9:00. The cost per class
and play is $7 for non members, $6 for members. Mini-lessons
can stand alone. No registration is necessary, and there is no
need to call ahead as we will provide partners.
Beginner's Club Series
Audrey Grant's Club series will be taught by Guy Germer on
Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 9:15 p.m. this fall. The Series
will run for seven weeks. There will not be a class on the day
before Thanksgiving. This series is for those who have never
played and for those who want to brush up on their bidding skills.
Textbook purchase is recommended at $13. Each lesson is $7
for non members, $6 for members. To obtain the full benefit of
the Club series, it is recommended that you try to attend as
many lessons in the series as possible. Registration requested,
but by no means required.
Intermediate Diamond Series
Audrey Grant's Diamond series will be taught by Guy Germer
on Monday evenings from 7:00 to 9:15 p.m. The Series will run
for eight weeks this fall. This series will focus on Declarer
play with bidding review, plus some conventions such as Stayman,
Blackwood and preemptive bids. This course will also be taught
on Thursday mornings at 9:00 a.m., skipping Thanksgiving Day.

Friday Workshops
Guy Germer will teach the Friday morning workshops from 9
a.m. to 11:45 starting November 3rd. The workshops are for intermediate
and advanced players who play duplicate bridge and wish to improve
their results. Learn as you play and discusss set hands designed
especially for that day's lesson. The workshops can stand alone,
so come as often as you wish.
The focus for six Fall workshops will be on Killer Defense
and making the most of your high cards. Lessons will include
attitude signals, discards, and opening leads. Don't worry, there
is no workshop on Thanksgiving Friday. The workshops will resume
on January with a new focus. Registration requested, but by no
means required.
