INSERVICE COMPONENT POINTS : Effective with the 1976-77 school year, teachers who complete the planned program of inservice education devised by the district will receive a $500 salary supplement each year for a 5 year period, subject to approval by the Board of this provision in each subsequent budget year.All teachers who earned an *R Supplement (Bachelor’s + 15 Semester hours of an approved planned program or a Bachelor’s + 300 inservice hours) prior to 1976-77 will receive an additional $159 per year. All salaries listed on this schedule are based on the highest acceptable level of training (Degree) appearing on employee’s valid Florida teaching certificate. *8 Effective August 1, 1999, for teachers currently employed and teachers recruited and employed after this date, will be allowed to bring in up to eight years of verified teaching experience for pay purposes. However payment shall not be retroactive. The Superintendent in accordance with Board Policy GCBA will have authority, under exceptional circumstances based on the Superintendent’s determination of local critical need, to award recruited and employed teachers more than eight years of public school teaching experience. Teachers bringing in eight years of experience and who are awarded a Professional Services Contract in the district will be eligible to move to PSC-10 after the fourth year and will move across the salary schedule at the normal progression. Effective July 1, 1998 all scheduled salary as shown above will be reduced by $100. As agreed in the contract, this portion will be paid as incentive performance pay. Employees on this schedule who receive a satisfactory evaluation will receive $10 per month employed to a maximum of $100 for the year. This payment will be received after the completion of the school- year and upon receipt of the evaluation form. Please allow 2 weeks to receive payment. |

INSERVICE COMPONENT POINTS
: Effective with the 1976-77 school year, teachers who complete the planned program of inservice education devised by the district will receive a $500 salary supplement each year for a 5 year period, subject to approval by the Board of this provision in each subsequent budget year.All teachers who earned an *R Supplement (Bachelor’s + 15 Semester hours of an approved planned program or a Bachelor’s + 300 inservice hours) prior to 1976-77 will receive an additional $159 per year.
All salaries listed on this schedule are based on the highest acceptable level of training (Degree) appearing on employee’s valid Florida teaching certificate.
*8 Effective August 1, 1999, for teachers currently employed and teachers recruited and employed after this date, will be allowed to bring in up to eight years of verified teaching experience for pay purposes. However payment shall not be retroactive. The Superintendent in accordance with Board Policy GCBA will have authority, under exceptional circumstances based on the Superintendent’s determination of local critical need, to award recruited and employed teachers more than eight years of public school teaching experience. Teachers bringing in eight years of experience and who are awarded a Professional Services Contract in the district will be eligible to move to PSC-10 after the fourth year and will move across the salary schedule at the normal progression.
Effective July 1, 1998 all scheduled salary as shown above will be reduced by $100. As agreed in the contract, this portion will be paid as incentive performance pay. Employees on this schedule who receive a satisfactory evaluation will receive $10 per month employed to a maximum of $100 for the year. This payment will be received after the completion of the school- year and upon receipt of the evaluation form. Please allow 2 weeks to receive payment.

*8 Effective August 1, 1999, for teachers currently employed and teachers recruited and employed after this date, will be allowed to bring in up to eight years of verified teaching experience for pay purposes. However payment shall not be retroactive. The Superintendent in accordance with Board Policy GCBA will have authority, under exceptional circumstances based on the Superintendent’s determination of local critical need, to award recruited and employed teachers more than eight years of public school teaching experience. Teachers bringing in eight years of experience and who are awarded a Professional Services Contract in the district will be eligible to move to PSC-10 after the fourth year and will move across the salary schedule at the normal progression.Effective July 1, 1998 all scheduled salary has shown above will be reduced by $100. As agreed in the contract, this portion will be paid as incentive performance pay. Employees on this schedule who receive a satisfactory evaluation will receive $10 per month employed to a maximum of $100 for the year. This payment will be received after the completion of the school- year and upon receipt of the evaluation form. Please allow 2 weeks to receive payment. EXTRA PERIOD SUPPLEMENT
In order to be eligible to receive a supplement under any of the conditions of a sixth period assignment (Art IX, Section 3) teachers must be instructing all other periods in a complete assignment.
CHAPTER ONE PROGRAM SUPPLEMENT
Teachers who voluntarily agree to instruct an early morning 45-minute period of Chapter One instruction as an elementary school will receive supplemental compensation in the amount of $1800 for the school year.
DROPOUT PREVENTION TUTORIAL PROGRAM
Teachers who voluntarily agree to participate in the Dropout Prevention Tutorial Program before or after school for additional instructional time, will receive supplemental compensation at a rate of $2000 per 50 minute instructional period or a pro-rated amount depending on the amount of time.
COMPUTER ASSISTED INSTRUCTION PROGRAM
Teachers who voluntarily agree to provide district-wide support and assistance to the computer assisted instruction program implemented by the district will receive supplemental compensation at a rate of $3000 for the school year.
TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT TEACHER
Base pay established by certificate as per Instructional Salary Schedule, plus $200 per month. This supplement may be paid to support personnel under certain conditions.
MIDDLE SCHOOL AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITY INSTRUCTOR
Teachers who voluntarily agree to instruct in the after school activity program at the middle school will receive compensation at the rate of $13.00 per hour.
EXTRA DUTIES SUPPLEMENT
Extra duties, which are not covered by other supplemental positions on the schedule of annual supplements, may be supplemented as an extra duty supplement. The supplement shall be paid only to teachers who volunteer to perform extra duties as part of their assignment. The supplement paid may range between $1500 - $2200 depending on the duties to be performed.

Summer School Employment is for 170 hours of work which includes at least 150 hours of instructional contact time with students and a maximum of 20 hours of planning and student supervision at the school site.
The operation of a summer school program for less than 150/170 hours must have the written approval of the Superintendent. A school(s) may operate its summer school program for less than 150/170 hours with the prior approval of the Superintendent. However, whatever reduction takes place in the 150/170 hours will result in a proportionate reduction in the salary earned by the summer school instructors.

Hourly Teachers
Instructional and Administrative Personnel who have retired under the 1996-1997 Supplemental Plan for Accelerated Retirement and are reemployed (after having been retired for one calendar month) by the District during the 1997-1998 school year as hourly teachers shall be paid and hourly rate based on AC-0 level, Bachelor’s Degree
