Sky Pirates!
Sky Pirates! is a wonderful book. It is very imaginative, both in terms of the plot
and in its approach to humor. I enjoyed it tremendously, but those who tend to take things
too seriously will probably find this book just too much fun for them to stand.
Two tentacles up for the "pretend-move author thing." Keep your eyes open for Snata.
Recommended. Highly recommended to those who enjoy a bit of silliness.

Death and Diplomacy
While Death and Diplomacy is not quite as zany as Sky Pirates! , it is an
excellent book. This book focuses in no small part on the character of Benny, and no fan of
hers should miss it. In it we get to find out some of what makes her tick, and the author makes
it an enjoyable, interesting, and sometimes touching experience. Oh...there is a story, too, focusing mostly around a
diplomatic conference between three races. This conference allows the author the chance to inject some
very funny political satire into the story. But to fans of Professor Summerfield, it is her moments that
really make this book shine.
Recommended. A must for Benny fans.

Burning Heart
More somber than Dave Stone's previous books in the "New Adventures" series, Burning Heart is Dave Stone's first
"Missing Adventure". It is an interesting tale of a planet being ruled by an uncontrolled police force, and a look
at what is controlling the police force. The book is more interesting for it's character moments, though, and both
the recurring and one-time characters are well done. The author's "Judge Dredd" experiences (he has written three
books for that series) clearly affected this novel, and make it an interesting addition to the series.
Recommended.
