The New Adventures, aka The Benny Adventures

In April of 1997 Virgin's license to publish Dr. Who books expired, and was not renewed as the BBC are going to publish new Doctor Who fiction on their own, beginning in June. Virgin, however, continue to publish "The New Adventures", which now focus on the adventures of Professor Bernice Surprise Summerfield-Kane, AKA "Benny". This series began in May, 1997, and is currently being published at the rate of 1 every 2 months.

"Twilight of the Gods" was the last Virgin Benny "New Adventure". Big Finish Productions have obtained the rights to publish books using Benny. You can order direct from them at Benny's new website . In addition, there are some audio adventures available on CD from Big Finish, also available at Benny's website.
