I'm an independent consultant working in the field of computer and communications security, specializing in research and development.

My main interest is the field of computer security, especially distributed security and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), which led to the creation of the Distributed Compartment Model, a formal security policy model. I am also interested in many other areas of computer security, distributed systems (especially distributed system resource allocation and access control), software engineering, and computer supported cooperative work (CSCW).
