Greetings to all P.A.C. members and all concerned citizens,
By popular demand, we will be holding just one more meeting to sign people up for the uniform law suit. Our attorney tells us that they have had dozens of disappointed callers at his office wanting to sign up since the last meeting (in addition to the roughly 500 plaintiffs who have already signed up).
Anyone planning to join the lawsuit to fight mandatory school uniforms (who did not do so at our previous meetings) should meet with us at the Lake Mirror Civic Center Theater in Lakeland on Friday, August 27th at 7:00 P.M. Robert Norgard, our attorney, will be signing up plaintiffs and answering questions. If you wish to participate in the suit, it is vital that you attend this meeting if you have not already signed up at one of the previous meetings.
As always, PAC will be holding a Voter Registration Drive at this meeting, so if you want register for the first time, change parties, or need to update your address on your Voter's Registration card, please take advantage of this opportunity. Reynolds may not care whether or not you are registered, but PAC does.
The Civic Center is on Lake Mirror Drive, just south of where Main Street goes around Lake Mirror. Here is an interactive map showing the area. The address is 707 E. Lemon Street, Lakeland. If you are coming from Bartow, take Hwy. 98 (towards Lakeland), turn LEFT on E. Main St. Take Main Street down to the Texas Cattle Company restaraunt. Turn left in front of the restraunt, and the Lake Mirror Civic Center is the large complex of buildings next door.
