Things I need to
do, buy or figure out to get my gyro flying!

To figure out:
 | Nosewheel Brake. I've
decided I want some kind of brake, and nosewheel is about the only practical kind for me.
There are a couple different schools of thought for this brake; Some are mounted to the
keel and press against the wheel. Some are mounted to the castoring wheel itself. Some
also can be used to steer while on the ground. I'll have to do a little measuring and
thinking to see what I can and can't do on the 'Bee with these systems, as some of these
designs would get in the way of the rudder pedal operations.

 | Instrument pod mount.
I'm not quite sure how I will mount the pod yet!
|
 | Throttle
location/mounting: I have the dual-lever version of the quadrant that Ralph
mentioned. I'm going to use the other lever for choke. I'm thinking about mounting a small
console, in the form of a 6" or so length of 2X2 tube on the side of the seat, along
with the quadrant. This could hold the ignition key and primer plunger.
