All the portraits and tee shirt designs on these Moonbug Studios pages were created by Lynn Van Couvering  in either graphite pencil, colored pencil, or one color from the palette of colored pencils, on either white or colored paper or illustration board.  Lynn has been doing portraits of pets and their people for over 20 years.  She works almost exclusively from photos, thus eliminating the need for her clients to travel long distances and pay sitting fees.  She creates priceless works of art from your photos or those she takes for you.

Lynn grew up in Southern California, in a rural setting, where she was fortunate to have ample opportunity to practice her natural artistic ability by drawing the people, pets, and farmyard animals in the area.  She attended college at California State University at Fullerton, as well as Fullerton Community College and Long Beach City College, working toward a degree in illustration.  She has worked as a freelance illustrator for over fifteen years.  Her clients include Software Of the Month Club, Welcome Home magazine, Noah's Animals, and many, many others.  She also designs tee shirts sold in national parks and elsewhere.  She now resides in Oregon with her four children.
