Mr. Donald H. Smith, my Father; a Weatherman's Weatherman and

an Advanced SKYWARN Spotter for Martin County since 1995, and was responsible for over 35 Weather Stations in Upstate New York, as the Head Supervisor of the Agriculture Dept. for Beech-Nut Baby Foods. He was a Horticulturist, with WX Stations placed in the Valleys and fields of NY.

The Martin County Skywarn Organization is an all volunteer Public Service Group Dedicated
to Providing Local Emergency Weather Information to the National Weather Service and the National Hurricane Center in Miami, Florida,  and the citizens of Martin County, Florida,
and When Requested, to The Martin County Board of County Commissioners and any other Allied County or National Agency. Overall responsibility rests with NWS, NOAA, and the Dept. of Commerce of the United States.
