Welecome to the P-A-D Observatory

My primary OTA (optical tube assembly) is a Meade ETX 125 UHC. I've removed it from the rather flimsy fork mount it came with and remounted it on a CG-5 clone equatorial mount. This mount is much heavier and tracks better than the original goto mount. The small white OTA on the side is an 80mm Shorty from Orion. I originally bought it for a guide scope but found the Meade mount was to light too support both scopes. With the CG-5 it works great.
The cameras I use are a Meade LPI (Lunar and Planetary Imager), a Meade DSI (Deep Sky Imager), and a Nikon D60. In the picture above you can see the 125 isconfigured with an eyepiece at prime focus and another eyepiece with the projection adapter attached, on the diaganol.
