The district operates a free old-tire recovery program. Old tires hold water and produce large numbers

of several mosquito species, some of which are linked to diseases. If you want old tires collected or wish to report seeing a pile of discarded tires, please call our district office and help us locate them so they can be properly disposed of. There is no charge for tire pick-up.

 

The district will not pick up tires generated by commercial entities. Businesses should contact the the county landfill to inquire about tire disposal.
