we're more animals than not. we ARE animals. we're technically classified as animals because we ARE animals. physically. and our behaviour is probably just sophisticated versions of what animals do. we eat, sleep, walk, etc.. and acquire things inhahe, that's only true of atheists the fact that we have arms, and hands, and heads, etc. and so do animals, isn't just coincidental inhahe.. that can be true and still mean we have lots of differences from other animals.. after all, animals are different from one another inhahe: and our mathematics is just a sophisticated version of the mathematics that beavers have, I suppose. And our mythologies sophisticated versions of the mythologies of clams. inhahe, now come on. You're forgetting that many kinds of animals don't have heads. We're definitely a unique animal in our thinking ability, but we're more animal than not. Our mistake isn't generally thinkign we're too animal, but thinking we're not enough inhahe.. whose mistake? and in what sense? inhahe: I think it's more usual to think that we're too animal. maybe people do tend to think we're just animals in ways that we aren't... but we are, in essence, not just theoretically, animals. inhahe, we're the type of being that decides what all other things are. That's not even a biological concept, it's super-biological inhahe, clearly man is the only species that has biologists well.. i guess an animal isn't as concerned with whether we're animals as we are, but within the framework of our concern, to me it seems we are essentially animals, not animals by a clever technicality. and animals probably recognize us as animals anyway in their own way. we can define animals as non-human, but that would just be a reflection of our mistake but i don't agree either with the socalled atheists who think we're just base unrefined animals one other thing: we think we're unique because of our ability to think, but interestingly, even that's done in teh same type of organ that lots of other animals have
