Who Are We?

This page contains many pictures of people from the Boca High Band and Guard from years ago. I'm not sure I know who these people are, where the pictures were taken, or what events these are. I'm not sure when they were taken either. If you know any info, e-mail me at fizban@gate.net. Pictures that have been fully identified, or at least identified by year, will be put in their year on the Through the Years page. Since this page is being fixed up, these pictures may be here for a little while.

The pictures on this page have been made smaller so that they can fit onto a full screen or less, and to reduce loading time. Some of those identified have only been identified by first name.

(An example of what to send): This is Brian Pabst at the Boca Holiday Parade in 1998. Bobby Dickerson is in the background next to him.

Include anything that might be a good caption for each picture, just to elaborate.

1) The 1987 marching season, a picture of the seniors from the class of 1988, most likely, as said by 3 people so far. On the top left is Mr. Spyker. Steve Patelle is standing with the quads to the right of Mr. Spyker. Some unfortunate news, Steve died a few years ago in a boating accident. To the right of Steve, is Deanna Villars. Next to her is Steven Sheridan, Tracy Tucker, Michael Markakis (the other snare drummer of this year), and definitely Glenn Barovich and Roland Mackey, and on the end next to them with the quad is Bill Barron. In the second row, on the far left is drum major Chantelle. Next to Chantelle are possibly Chris Garvin, Pam Knoop, Penny Mingst, an unknown, Amy White, 2 more unknowns, and finally Carmen Schultz, head of the flute section. The bottom row, in the center is Carol Lee. The other guard girls are yet to be identified.

8) Will McDaniel impersonating President George Bush as Jason Zacher imitates his Vice, Dan Quayle at a band banquet in 1992.

9) Band Director, Mr. Harry Spyker, directing the Wind Ensemble during the 1991 Boca Raton High School Graduation Ceremony.

10) Jennifer Weise at band camp. She's the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Weise, who are still science teachers at Boca High School.

11) This picture is definitely one of Nancy Barnett, class of 1987, as verified by Steven Gerald. Her sister, Carol, was also involved in the program, graduating 1990.

12) This picture focuses on a girl named Carol, at that's probably her name.
