Requirements for Eligibility

There are 5 different types of status. These are:

Inactive Alumni:

Known alumni who have been in the band program for at least one full year, from band camp to band banquet, and have graduated from high school and who have have not filled out the alumni database form. Graduation from Boca High isn't a requirement, but high school graduation is a requirement and finishing your year in the program is. Exceptions to the full year of band or guard rule would be if you unintentionally left the band or guard program due to moving or similar circumstances. These will be looked at on a case-by-case basis. Inactive alumni will be listed in the database with red boxes around their entries.

Active Alumni:

Alumni who have filled out the alumni database form. They have also completed one full year of the Boca Raton High School band program and have graduated from a high school.

Current Member:

Are currently involved in the Band or Guard program that have completed or will potentially complete one full year.

Potential Alumni:

These are people who have completed a full year of the band or guard program, but who have not yet graduated high school and are not part of the program anymore.

Honorary Member:

For any director, staff member, or band parent who has gone above and beyond the call of duty while supporting the Pride of the Gold Coast Band & Guard. This is determined by a majority vote by the Alumni Association.

Note: If your information does not appear in the Alumni Database, please fill out the alumni form page. The information we ask for is only going to be used to contact you to announce things such as reunions and Pride of the Gold Coast band & guard events.
