Construction Hazards in South Florida

Florida kills more people in construction than anywhere else in the country. Everyone is responsible. Employers must bid safety in their contracts and enforce safe work practices. OSHA is stepping up enforcement.

Training and education is available from OSHA Consultation, the National Safety Council, and several universities and associations. In addition, the public must take responsibility for buying and using facilities built at the expense of workers' lives.
