At last, I sat down and made an entry for Authoritative Action. Also, you may or may not know that Doom has crashed into the pages of (actually just the last page) of Fantastic Four. I made a small entry for #557, but of course the real story kicks off next month in #558. Look for it on sale on June 11th.
The Heroes Return page finally got a face lift. Check it out.

Iron Man: Legacy of Doom #2 is in stores now. So far its awesome, a must for all Doom fans. I've added summaries and notes for the first two issues. I'll write up a review when its all done.
Some non-appearances:
Other Doom appearances:
You may also note some changes in the issue guides.

I'm continuing to give the website a face lift. You'll note that the Classic & Heroes Reborn section of the Issue Guide have a new format. I hope this new format will facilitate visitors to be able to find the issue they want quicker. I've also taken the liberty to add some graphics and highlighting in black issues or arcs of significance. This is what I think the new standard format for all of the Issue Guide sections will be. Feedback is welcome as always! I think its also cool that there is a lot more info on the issue guides. I.E. the month and year of publication. I struggled previously on whether to make my guide chronological to the character or to publication year. Publication year won out.
Some more additions...:
A few others which I seemed to have overlooked...just browse around!
Also, keep in mind that on Iron Man: Legacy of Doom #2 is out now. I definitely recommend picking it up.

Quite a full update...added:
4/15/08
In honor of the upcoming release of Iron man: Legacy of Doom, I've revised my entries on Iron man #150 and 250. The Summaries and reviews were overdue anyway. They were holdovers from when DoomGate was just a small part of my Doom 2099 site and really did not do the issues justice. Well, I don't think any of my reviews do justice to any of the issues here, but I try. So check them out. They also been given a Notes section. Also, strongly related to those issues and hot off the stands (ok, maybe not so hot, more like room temperature. I know, I'm behind!) I've also got full write ups on Doom recent appearances in Mighty Avengers #9 - #11. Check that out as well.
I've also got some belated updates which have been sitting on my USB drive catching dust. Added to the Issue Guide:
Blade #2 (could have sworn I already posted this)

As you've probably seen, we've gone green here at DoomGate, in light of Secret Invasion starting. Somehow I doubt Doom will be doing anything, and it is safe to say Doom is not a Skrull. Nevertheless, its all in good fun.
Mighty Avengers seems, to me at least, to have shipped twice last month. So while I thought I was up to date with Doom's latest appearance, I'm already behind. Speaking of which, talk is going about the boards that Doom is behind bars. Go check out Mighty Avengers #11.
Also, I recently noticed that Iron Man: Legacy of Doom was pushed back. Instead of looking for it this week, it will come out April 16th. Definitely a must for all Doom fans.

Fantastic Four 406-409 added to the Issue Guide.

Trying out a new look on the site. We'll see how long it lasts. Other things are going to be rearranged as well. Hopefully the site will be a little more streamlined.

More updates!

At last, a real update!
The entire run of Super-Villain Team-Up has summary and comments over in the Classic section.

First update of the new year!
For now there is nothing in the way of updates to the site, but I thought I would mention some of the Doom related stuff that is out there. Doom has been making a number of minor appearances here and there, but that seems set change in tomorrows Mighty Avengers #8.
Mighty
Avengers #8 sees the start of the Doom event which Bendis has been
promising for awhile. This will be out Jan 30th. The arc seems to run
through to Mighty Avengers #11
Doom made a
significant splash (pun intended) in
Namor #6,
which if you're not able to find will be
collected
and released Feb 13th.
He's also supposedly
made another brief appearance in
Thor
#5, supposedly helping former Acts of Vengeance cohort, Loki, come back
from oblivion.
Bob Layton and Dave
Micheline turn their classic Iron Man vs. Doom pairings into a trilogy. >
April 9, 2008 will see the release of
Iron Man:
Legacy of Doom, a direct sequel to Iron Man #149-150 & 249-250. The
classic issues will be collected in both softcover and hardcover, available
March 26th.
Much talked about, but now there is confirmation, that Doom will be making an appearance in the upcoming Mark Millar / Bryan Hitch run on Fantastic Four. You can see an uncolored cover of Fantastic Four #558 featuring Doom here. You can buy the original art for $4,000. I think I'll stick to buying the issue... Credit to Mundungus and Doctor of Doom to posting the link to this at Newsarama and the FFMB respectively.
