Southern Country Express (SCE) is a "not for profit" dance club whose purpose is to promote country & western dance and line dance in a noncompetitive atmosphere by performing exhibitions at local community and charity events. SCE also provides its members with a clean, fun and challenging opportunity for personal growth and friendship.

Dance Steps
SCE is Southeast Georgia's premier country & western line dance exhibition team and social group.
We have more than 100 active members in the social group and over 30 dancers on the exhibition team. The group was first established in 1996 and the exhibition team starting appearing at events and festivals 6 months later. SCE has performed exhibitions at every local festival from the St. Marys Mardi Gras Celebration to the Kingsland Catfish Festival, from the Hispanic Heritage Celebration, at the Kings Bay NSB, to the Woodbine Crawfish Festival. Every festival committee has anxiously invited us back, the next year, for a repeat performance. We have danced routines for the St. Marys Convalescence Home and at the Unity Day Picnic, which is held by 7 local unions. Numerous articles and reviews on SCE have appeared in local newspapers. This includes full column articles in the Camden County Tribune & The Southeast Georgian as well as the Trident Tribune.

In short, our dance club is a well known, well liked and well established group of friends, that perform for the love of dance and the entertainment of others.

Potential Sponsors Read On!

Now that you know who we are and what we are about, here is some information for any potential sponsor's. Up to this time our exhibition costume has been the social groups T-shirt with the hand made SCE logo on the back. The group is attempting to obtain new costumes as well as have a larger, more professional banner made. But, being a "not for profit" organization, we are having problems raising the funds needed for these items. We have tried everything from yard sales to car washes but the expense of the new costumes and banner seem to be out of our reach.
If you are considering becoming a SCE sponsor here are some of the benefits you could receive:

1. Your logo would be proudly displayed on the SCE banner everywhere we perform.
2. Your company would be heavily advertised on the WWW on the SCE home page.
3. SCE would hand out fliers or brochures at the events after we perform.
4. Your company would be mentioned during our introduction and any announcements (ie: promotions & so forth) could be made at the end of the performance.
5. SCE could perform at events your company sponsors.

These are just a few of the positive things SCE can bring your way and all we ask is a small monetary backing to assist us in purchasing new costumes and a banner. If you are interested in this proposition please contact, Lee Hardison by E-Mail: cowboy1@gate.net
