SPECIAL ARTPIECE: In keeping with her theme of recycling, the artist also works with larger discarded objects. These two chairs are examples: That on the left is made from a 1940's ringer-washer; on the right, a salvaged restaurant chair, rebuilt and upholstered with men's silk ties. Both pieces have won awards in national art shows.
