| It is the Consumer's right pursuant to Section 585.95, Florida Statutes, to receive a certificate of veterinary inspection with each dog or cat purchased from a pet dealer. Such certificate shall list all vaccines and deworming medications administered to the animal and shall state that the animal has been examined by a Florida licensed veterinarian who certifies that, to the best of his knowledge, the animal was found to have been healthy at the time of the examination. You have 48 Hrs. from time of purchase, to take your pet to the veterinarian of your choice. In the event the Vet certifies, in writing, that the animal was unfit for purchase as provided under the law, you must notify the pet dealer within 2 business days of the Vets determination and provide a copy of the written certification that the animal was unfit for sale under the law. The consumer then has the right to return, retain, or exchange the animal and receive reimbursement for certain related veterinary services, not to exceed the purchase price, rendered to the animal subject to the right of the dealer to have the animal examined by another Vet. |
| Failure to abide by these conditions will void this warran-tee and any redress under the law. Refund or exchange will be made no longer than 10 business days following receipt of the Veterinarian certification of unfitness under the law. |
| Any injury or illness contacted after taking possession of an animal may not be determined as unfit and is not covered under the warrantee. An animal may not be determined unfit because of internal or external parasites, including fungus, unless the animal is clinically ill due to such condition at time of sale. |
| Signing of this warrantee constitutes a waiver of any rights to return an animal for any congenital or heredity disorder not discovered at original (48 hour) examination by purchaser's vet. There will be no refund or exchange for medical expenses, land- lord approval, allergy, change of diet problems, diarrhea, disagreement of family, mortality or for any other reason, except as covered under this warrantee. It is further understood and agreed that no warrantee or representation has been made with respect to said animal except as set forth in this agreement. |
