It's that time of year again-time to whip up some quilts and blankets for the sick kids at the Children's Diagnostic and Treatment Center. We are in the fourth year of this project, and to date we have donated a total of 580 quilts and afghans. That's a lot of kids! If all those kids were lined up in a row holding their blankies- that line would stretch for blocks. This year, we would like to make the line of kids even longer. There are over 7,000 kids treated at the Center for their chronic illnesses and 80% of them live below poverty level. They really don't have much to call their own so your quilts and afghans would mean a lot to them. This project is always a lot of fun and we hope you have some time to join us this year.
