Another year has flown by, and our Officers and Governors are nearing this year's end of their term in office. Our fiscal year ends October 31st and election time is fast approaching. Our Nominating Committee consisting of Albert Massey, Chairman, Josie House, Beth Handley, Dick Searles and John Aurelius has met to bring you a new list of candidates. Their list of Nominations is shown on page 8.    Our next Membership Meeting will be held on Thursday, September 20th at the George English Park Clubhouse at 6:30 P.M., and we will make it a little party and serve fresh, hot pizza and soda to all our members who appear. This will be your opportunity as CRA members to nominate any eligible paid up CRA Member for office to add to the list of candidates made by the Nominating Committee. You may nominate yourself or another member if you have their prior consent to be a candidate. Remember, under our ByLaws, every candidate must have paid his/her dues by March 31, 2001.    Any CRA member voting must have paid his/her dues not later than the last day of the month preceeding the month in which the election is held, (August 31st).    You will receive your Ballot by September 30th, 2001, and members should return their Ballots to Accountants Kelly & Kelly whose address and instructions will accompany the Ballot, which CRA members must mail in on or before the deadline date shown on their Ballots. Results of the election will be announced at the October Membership Meeting. Mrs. Nikki Marchelos    Mrs. Nikki Marchelos competed for the Title of Mrs. Florida International and won The Best Physical Fitness Award, The Best Evening Gown Award and came very close to capturing the Crown at The Mrs. Florida International Pageant on Friday, July 6, 2001, in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. "We cross our fingers for next year." , says Nikki. Her platform is Hepatitis C awareness and she is actively involved with the Hepatitis C Foundation. For further information on Hepatitis C, please call 1-877-HELP-4-HEP.    Nikki, her husband Spiro, and their three daughters live in Coral Ridge and are members of the Coral Ridge Homeowners Association.The children attend Bayview Elementary School.
