Journalist Found Dead

A Band Not Currently Seeking Representation

Journalist Found Dead is a two-person techno/dance band from the hotbed of electronica, South/Central Florida. Sherri handles keyboards, drums and samples, and Steve composes and programs. Both use Pentium computers running Sonic Foundry's ACID, a real-time, loop-based music production tool.

The band's styles cover the range of electronica, from ambient and trance to hard house and techno, anywhere from 120-150 bpm.

JFD plans to sign on with MP3.com to distribute its music to the wired world. Until then, samples of their work will be made available here. Steve is presently at work on a solo project, "Bang," a concept album inspired by the universe of Trinity, a science-fiction role-playing game by White Wolf Games Studio. A few songs at a time will be made available here from that album as it is produced. They are being stored at an outside site where I have more Web space. The current selections feature the Esperanza Suite, a trilogy meant to play one song directly after another (the first two blend), commemorating perhaps the biggest all-around screwup in the Trinity universe.

Keep an eye on this page every couple months for future releases. (I've slowed down.)
