Meet EntryForm:
Meet Entry Form must be completed for each team and each unattached runner,
if entering the meet independent of a team. A separate Meet Entry Form
must be completed for each gender. If
necessary, please photocopy the Meet Entry Form.
Waiver/Release/Forms: An Adult or Minor Waiver/Release
Form must be completed for each runner and coach
participating in this Event. Waiver/Release Form(s) for minors
MUST BE signed by a Parent or
Legal Guardian. Please photocopy the Adult & Minor Waiver/Release
Forms as necessary.
USATFMembership: All runners, (except those participating in the Community Division), must have a current USATF membership. Runners will be required to write their USATF membership number on the Meet Entry Form and on the Waiver/Release Form and should also be prepared to produce their Membership Card at Registration in order to obtain their Race Number.
USATF memberships will be sold at Registration by USATF’s Florida Association for $15.
USATF Team Eligibility:
Eligibility: To be eligible for this Meet, each team must
currently be registered as an Association Club with USATF and must provide
proof of membership in the form of a club certificate or letter from the
respective Association.
Community Division Eligibility:
A current USATF Membership is not required to participate in this race. No minimum age is required.
Senior Division Eligibility:
Masters Division Eligibility:
Masters runners must be born on or before December 6, 1958. Resident aliens are eligible to participate. No performance standards are necessary to participate. Masters Teams must be registered with USATF.
Masters Teams are designated by 10-year age increments. However, a Masters runner may compete in a younger age division for his/her team than his/her actual age division would be if he/she were competing individually.
Only United States citizens are eligible to run.
The total points of each Senior Team’s first five (5) runners determines the Team’s score. The team with the lowest score wins.
Cross Country Displacement will be in effect:
All "unattached runners", runners belonging to incomplete or ineligible teams, and runners not declared as scoring entrants for a Club Team will be removed from the results for purposes of Team Scoring.
Community Division:
Each runner in this division will receive a participation award for finishing the race.
Masters Division:
Scoring members of winning teams will be awarded medals.
Senior Division:
USATF Championship medals will be presented to the top seven (7) finishers with additional awards presented to the 8th through 15th place finishers.
Only United States citizens are eligible to receive awards/medals.
The top three (3) teams scoring and displacing members will also receive medals.
Awards will be presented at the awards stand approximately 30 minutes after the completion of the Meet. Race results will be posted on the results board; will be available by 10am on Monday December 7th on http://www.gate.net/~finkef/; on the t-and-f listserver, and on the Championships Website hosted by coachnet.
Packet Pickup: Packets may be picked up at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex at the times listed below. Please allow extra time for Packet Pickup on Sunday (2 hours prior to competition).

Race Numbers: In addition to the regular race numbers which must be worn on the front, each runner must also wear an age-division number on his/her back.
Technical Meeting: A Pre-Race Technical Meeting will be held
on Saturday December 5th at 6:00pm on the
Auxiliary Court in the Disney’s Wide World of Sports Fieldhouse.
Each team and individual runner entered in the Meet should attend or send
a representative to this meeting.
Medical: Certified athletic trainers will be on site during the course preview on Saturday, December 5th and from 7am until the conclusion of the Event on Sunday, December 6th,1998.
Admission: A Length-of-Event Ticket, a 2-day admission ticket for Saturday, December 5th and Sunday, December 6th, is available for spectators: $8.00 for adults and $6.75 for children ages 3 to 9. These tickets may be purchased at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Box Office.
Transportation: All Event participants and spectators are responsible for providing or arranging for their own transportation to the Event site.
Parking: Ample parking is available at Disney’s Wide World of Sports complex. Parking is free of charge.
Course Description: The new course at Disney’s Wide World of Sports complex incorporates our world class multi-
sports fields, Foot Locker® Track & Field Venue and the new 0.7 mile and 1.3 mile trails through the woods. The course is essentially flat with some small rises. The course will incorporate two barriers located on the multi-sport fields. (Runners are required to run over, not around, the barriers). The course terrain includes the fast Bermuda TIF 419 (multi-sports fields and trail) natural grass and a small section on the rubberized surface of the Foot Locker® Track & Field Complex.
Spikes: This cross country event is run partially on the Foot Locker® Track & Field Complex, because of this spike length will be limited to ¼ inches.
